Recycling
Recycling in your home is easier than you may think. We will deliver a Recycling Container, please place this in a convenient location in your home.
Below is a list of items currently being recycled and instructions on how to prepare them for pickup.
PAPERGOODS:
Only newspapers, magazines, catalogs, junk mail and phone books are accepted. These items should be clean and dry and placed loose in your own recyclable container. Please no cereal or macaroni boxes & no waxy cardboard. CORRUGATED CARDBOARD MUST BE CUT UP INTO 2X2 PIECES AND BUNDLED TOGETHER. NO SHREDDED PAPER.
GLASS-CLEAR & COLORED, PLASTIC BOTTLES, METAL CANS & MILK/JUICE CARTONS:
Only plastic containers that have a neck narrower than the rest of the container. All glass and metal cans are recyclable. All the following items must be clean before being placed loose in the bin.
ALL CAPS ARE TO BE REMOVED. PLEASE, NO PLASTIC BAGS.
NON-RECYCLABLE ITEMS:
Plastic or metal hangers, cereal, macaroni and pizza boxes, Styrofoam, Light bulbs, motor oil containers, flower pots, egg cartons, broken glass, toys, plastic packaging, take-out containers, etc.
